You Blasphemer!
There have been fights in the name of religion and directly for the religion(s) as well. Then let it be the Crusades, Holocaust or the Islamic battles, religion has remained the darling of the people as people find or try to reach Salvation through it. This, "Apple of an Eye" nature of religion in Pakistan has been on peak as well since Adam as it has always been used in Pakistan to shelter misdeeds and this cover becomes even thicker and tough by the blasphemy law which is rooted in the Indian Penal Code of 1860, established during the time of British colonization. In 1889, a light penal clause was added pertaining to defiling or insulting any religion and later in 1927, the British colonizers made it a criminal offence to commit “deliberate and malicious acts intended to outrage religious feelings of any class by insulting its religious beliefs”. ...
